The IAT/CRC Centre d'imatge Molecular is a non-profit private foundation promoted by the company CRC-Mar, part of the group “CRC Corporació Sanitaria”, and the “Institut Municipal d’Assistència Sanitària” (IMAS), under the control of the Town Council of Barcelona. Our facilities were officially inaugurated on May 4th, 2004.

The IAT/Centre d'imatge Molecular counts on the institutional support of the Town Council of Barcelona and the scientific support of the “Institut Municipal d’Investigacions Mèdiques” (IMIM), the “Institut d’ Investigacions Biomèdiques August Pi i Sunyer” (IDIBAPS) and the “Institut de Recerca del Hospital Vall d’Hebron”.
